LAS VEGAS – March 7, 2011 – MGM Resorts International has been named among the top U.S. companies for diversity best practices in a prominent national competition.

MGM Resorts was named to DiversityInc’s list of “25 Noteworthy Companies” list, marking the sixth time that the Company has been recognized for its Diversity initiative by the benchmarking organization. The “DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity” list and the “25 Noteworthy Companies” list rank companies based on the results of DiversityInc’s annual survey.

MGM Resorts is the only company headquartered in Nevada to be named to the list.

“Achieving consistent placement of MGM Resorts on the DiversityInc lists is testament to the fact that our Diversity initiative is one of the most sincere, integrated and effective programs in the United States,” said Phyllis James, MGM Resorts International Executive Vice President, Chief Counsel-Special Litigation, and Chief Diversity Officer. “This is yet another banner accomplishment for our Company.”
